The South Whidbey Community Engagement Center is a bridge between the school and the community, serving as a service-learning training center and service-learning clearinghouse. In addition to coordinating service-learning activities, the center provides a variety of training opportunities for youth, adults, and community-based organizations.

The South Whidbey Community Engagement is funded by The Northwest Rural Grant Project and the Corporation for National and Community Service, with the support and guidance of the South Whidbey Schools Foundation in their role as fiscal agent for the project. We wish to express special thanks to Dave Haworth, Barb Bennetts and Ed VanPatten of the Foundation for their support.
